      <image:title>Stock Trading Comptuers - What’s Important?</image:title>
<image:caption>Stock trading computers are much different than most computers that are suited for gaming or other uses. While a gaming computer CAN be used for stock trading. There are ways to save money on certain parts while still increasing performance. The CPU is arguably the most important part of any stock trading computer. When searching for one, you want to make sure it's suitable for the software you are using. Most trading softwares nowadays benefit from fast single threaded performance. In most cases, you want to find a CPU with at least 6 cores and a fast single thread speed. The more cores you have, the more simultaneous instructions can be done at once. Single thread speed is defined by the amount of work completed in a certain amount of time that runs on a single stream of instructions/on a single thread. Single thread speed is most benefited by stock trading applications such as ThinkOrSwim. Also, you should only choose a CPU with a lot of cores (more than 8) only if your certain trading application will utilize them.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Gaming Computers - What’s Important?</image:title>
<image:caption>Gaming Computers are some of the most common PC’s in the computer industry. Saying that, it is very important to spend your money in certain areas to maximize performance. The GPU is the heart of any gaming computer, it decides whether your gaming session is smooth or not . Many people have questions if they should use an Nvidia or AMD GPU. In most cases, AMD GPU’s provide better value in the budget section, and Nvidia GPU’s are primarily for the mid to high tier computers. For example, a budget computer will likely come equipped with either AMD’s integrated graphics, or a GPU such as the RX 580 that can comfortably play light eSports titles at 1080p which include games like Fortnite or Apex Legends. Mid tier computers will likely come included with an RTX 2060 or 3060, these GPU’s are most suitable for all games at 1080p to 1440p high settings. Finally moving onto the high end GPU’s, these include the RTX 3070, 2080ti, 3080 and 3090! These are best for 1440p to 4k gaming in the most demanding titles! GPU’s are essentially a CPU, RAM and a PCB (Printed Circuit Board). The physical GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) as suggested, is the component of the graphics card that handles all the graphics processing. But how does it differ from a normal CPU? Graphics Processors are designed to handle a very specific subset of calculations that games and graphically intensive programs utilize (More specifically, GPU’s are highly optimized for floating point computations and can run a lot of them in parallel). CPU’s on the other hand are more flexible as they are designed to perform basic multiplication, addition, division and Subtraction. For RAM, 8gb is the minimum for 1080p and 16Gb should be plenty for 1080p, 1440p and 4k Gaming. RAM or Memory is essentially an SSD on steroids, it is tremendously faster but comes in much smaller capacities, usually around 8Gb to 32Gb.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Video Editing Computers - What’s Important?</image:title>
<image:caption>Video editing computers are tricky, its all about the right balance between CPU, GPU, RAM and Storage to make sure video editing experience is as fast and streamlined as possible. The CPU in a video editing rig is the most important component in the system. With one that is not suitable for your needs, playback and your editing experience will be choppy and slow. Before talking about my personal CPU recommendations, let's start off with what makes editing softwares so demanding on aCPU. Depending on your timeline and effects added in, the number of processes (cores and threads) the software uses increases dramatically. So it's very important to find a cpu with at least 6 cores for light video editing, if you have really complex timelines, a CPU with 12-16 cores should do the job. The RAM is another make or break component of this type of computer. The main use for RAM in a video editing system is to cache preview files. When playing back footage, the RAM provides it to the rest of the system. 8 Gigabytes of RAM is the bare minimum and should only be used in super tight budgets as it only allows for projects smaller than 1080p as well as closing down background applications. 16Gb will work for 1080p or light 4k video editing with some background programs as well. 32Gb is the general recommendation for editors as it provides great performance as it can handle a heavy load of video editing while still having background applications open.</image:caption>
